PUPPY
Gugg era un pequeño planeta de una galaxia remota más allá de la Vía Láctea.
En el planeta Gugg vivía una bella princesita de nombre Gheim
Gheim era una niña muy hermosa.
Tenía un perrito chiquitín que atendía por Puppy.
Gheim y Puppy eran los mejores amigos del mundo y siempre estaban jugando.
Un día, unos hombres malvados raptaron a nuestra princesita y la metieron en una nave espacial, de control remoto, para abandonarla en el cielo.
Puppy, sin que nadie se diera cuenta consiguió entrar en la nave y cuando ésta se puso en movimiento, se acercó muy zalamero hasta su dueña.
¡Qué contenta se puso Gheim cuando Puppy se subió sobre ella de un salto!
Mientras tanto, la nave iba dando vueltas por el Universo.
Gheim se abrazaba a su Puppy asustada.
Cuando la nave de Gugg pasó por Bilbao, que está en el planeta Tierra, empezó a dar vueltas y más vueltas, como si fuera un remolino…
Hasta que…¡¡¡¡Plaf!!!! … tantas vueltas dio, que se empotró en el puente de La Salve, que cruza el río Nervión.
Menos mal que la nave era de titanio, que es un metal muy resistente, y no se rompió del todo.
Pero una parte de ella pasó por debajo del puente hasta el otro lado por la fuerza del impacto.
Y ahí se quedó.
Ya no pudo seguir rodando y rodando por los cielos eternamente, como pretendían los secuestradores de la princesita.
Aprovechando el barullo del aterrizaje, Gheim y Puppy consiguieron escaparse por una grieta que se abrió al caer la nave espacial.
Pero, el ruido de los motores, hizo salir a los lobos de sus madrigueras .
… y rodearon a Puppy y a Gheim.
La princesita temblaba de miedo.
Entonces, Puppy, se colocó delante de su amiga enfrentándose a los lobos
Enseñó los dientes para asustarles.
Porque, aunque era muy pequeño, también era muy valiente.
Puppy comenzó a crecer y crecer, de tanto enfado como tenía. A medida que crecía, su piel se erizaba y aparentaba ser un animal terrorífico.
Los lobos se asustaron al ver aquel gigante, que les miraba sin pestañear.
Y se tuvieron que retirar.
Cuando Puppy consiguió que se fueran los lobos, cada una de las púas en que se habían convertido sus pelos, se convirtió en una hermosa flor.
Era el regalo que le hacía la Naturaleza por ser un héroe.
La capa de flores era mágica y siguió allí quieta como una escultura de colores.
Toda la ciudad acudió a ver aquel perrito, que se había convertido en estatua de flores para defender a su dueña.
El auténtico Puppy salía, mientras tanto, tan ricamente, por debajo de las flores sin que nadie se diera cuenta.
Porque él se había vuelto a su tamaño natural.
Se puso a buscar a Gheim.
No la encontraba por ningún sitio.
Hasta que la vio asomada a la barandilla de la Ría.
Cuando se encontraron Gheim y Puppy se pusieron muy contentos,
Decidieron quedarse para siempre en la nave varada, que parecía un palacio de plata.
Habían pensado que Bilbao era un bello lugar para vivir.
Como resultaba tan grande para ellos dos solos, el Alcalde decidió convertir la nave en un precioso museo, a fin de que todo el mundo disfrutara de él.
Ahora se llama “Museo Guggenheim”.
En recuerdo del planeta Gugg y de su princesa, Gheim.
… y cuentan que por la noche, cuando todos duermen, Puppy y Gheim, salen a jugar al escondite entre las esculturas de las salas de exposiciones.
Para que no nos olvidemos de la hazaña del perrito Puppy, su capa mágica de flores vigila la entrada del Museo, que brilla resplandeciente bajo los rayos del sol.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
